I like to post live blitz matches once and awhile to mix things up. This is an extended video, with a longer time on it. Please let me know if you would like to see more of these in the future. Feel free to visit my site on www.jrobichess.com for chess resources and training materials.

Chess in Concert at the Royal Albert Hall - London 12th May 2008
Stop-motion chess movie about the one of the most remarkable games in the 1990 World Chess Championship Match between Garry Kasparov and Anatoly Karpov. The place is Lyon, France. The opening is the closed Ruy Lopez, Flohr-Zaitsev variation, one of Karpov's speciality. Kasparov temporarily sacrifices his queen in a tactical struggle, and wins brilliantly. This is my second attempt at stop motion movies, there are still some problems and mistakes, but that's because it's very difficult to make a flawless stop-motion video! I can only hope I can overcome these problems in my future features. Hope you'll all enjoy this one, too! Thanks for watching!
